Main garden update

Here are pics from the main garden. It is growing and growing! Follow me on a small tour of our square foot raised beds...

Through the fence. The bed front left has swiss chard, peppers, and herbs in it. I neglected to get a close pic of that - but they are doing well.

Walk in the gate and to the left is the swiss chard bed discussed above, straight ahead is the sweet corn bed. We planted about 135 seeds in that 6x6 bed!

To the left of that bed is the Amish Paste tomato bed, there are 16 plants in that 4x4.
Note the trellis behind, we will talk about that later.
Turn around behind you then and the bed next to the swiss chard bed has 3 yellow tomato plants, 6 cauliflower plants and quite a few short carrots.
To the right of that is another tomato bed, this one has 15 plants
- Delicious, Brandywine and Aunt Ruby's Green.
To the right of that is the pole beans.
To the right of that is the bush beans. We are now at the back far corner.
Both bean beds are 4x6.Now peek behind the bean bed, near the trellis,
there is a long, narrow bed that holds zucchini...

... a second planting of peas...... and cucumbers! The long, narrow bed that these are in runs behind the paste tomato bed,
so now you are back in the center of the garden
and to the right is the corn where we started our tour.
Thank you for visiting!
Come back for more tours as all the plants grow and fill the gardens.
